One Distillery. Every Type of American Whiskey

Here at Heaven Hill Distillery, we’ve devoted ourselves to the craft of fine American whiskey for over 80 years. From Single Barrel to Bottled-in-Bond, from Small Batch specialties to limited-edition collections, our Master Distillers are passionate about one thing: preserving America’s rich traditions of whiskey-making for all to enjoy.

What makes one type different than another? That depends on how it’s crafted.

BOTTLED-IN-BOND WHISKEYS:
Bottled-in-Bond whiskey must be produced in one distillery, distilled during one distillation season, aged for at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 Proof.

Recommended for you: Rittenhouse Rye

SMALL BATCH BOURBONS:
Our Small Batch Bourbons are selected from 200 barrels or less, from specific locations in the rickhouse. Our Master Distillers mingle these limited quantities that have matured to their exact specifications.

Recommended for you: Elijah Craig Small Batch

BARREL PROOF BOURBONS:
Barrel Proof Bourbons go straight from the barrel, to the bottle, to your glass. They’re barreled at 125 proof and can sometimes rise to over 140 proof, due to heat and evaporation during the aging process. This uncut Bourbon preserves all the rich, natural flavors of maturation, without compromise.

Recommended for you: Elijah Craig Barrel Proof

VINTAGE-DATED WHISKEYS:
Our Master Distillers select vintage-dated whiskeys from only a limited number of whiskey barrels of the same year. Then they’re bottled to preserve the unique flavors and aromas from that single moment in time.

Recommended for you: Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage

SINGLE BARREL BOURBONS:
Single Barrel Bourbons must surpass the expectations of our Master Distillers’ refined palates. There’s no combining of whiskeys here, as each unique barrel selected is bottled individually for an exquisite taste experience.
